Students are expected to be in class daily as the learning structure in our standards-based classroom is highly collaborative. Students are graded on their daily work which consists of journaling, group projects, individual assignments, homework and participation. Students are also graded in regards to assessments (vocabulary, grammar and comprehension) and portfolio items (essays, extended responses and graphic organizers).
