Why does the page say my account is inactive?
-Your account should not be inactive. Patrons who see this message may be at a different address. Be sure to use the URL:
http://dcps.mygradeportal.com. If you use the gradeportal site with "www" it will LOOK like the correct site, but will not be connected to the Duval Schools database of student accounts.

My daughter lost her user name for the portal. How can she get back in?

-Students who have lost their login information should come to the Media Center to see Mrs. Ashley and request their user name and password for the portal.

I tried to recover my password using the "forgot password" hyperlink, but it says that my password does not match the records.

-The most common reason for this is that your e-mail address is not in our records. If you have not yet registered your Grade Portal account with an e-mail address, the Main Office staff will be gald to help you. If you have already completed a form, please contact your Grade Portal manager at 260-3911 x1174 or ashleyc@duvalschools.org.

I just heard about the portal. How can I get access to the site?
-Parents and students can show their ID in the schools' main office to pick up the user name and password. Parents will be asked to complete a brief form to add their e-mail address to the child's record. Once the e-mail address is in the system, it will be permitted to be used for official contact, such as password support.

The user name and passwords are a little complicated. Can I change mine?
-the user name cannot be changed, but the password can be changed by logging into the portal, then clicking on "My Profile" near the top right of the screen.
