THE KING AND I

This year’s spring musical, The King and I, will be held on Thursday, May 16 and Friday, May 17 at 7:00 p.m. .   Now that cast members have had the chance to order tickets, ticket sales are open to all.  We have about 75 tickets left for each of the two performances and these will be sold first come, first served.  Simply write your child's name, the number of tickets you want to buy, and the night you want tickets (Thursday or Friday) on an envelope.  Enclose $5.00 per ticket and send to school tomorrow.  I will send tickets home with students tomorrow afternoon.  

BOOSTERTHON 

Our Boosterthon Fun Run was a great success- great fun for the students and pledges totaling $29,000 profit for JBE.  Our goal, of course, is to collect 100% of the money that was pledged.  This Thursday, May 16th is the due date for all pledges.  Please send your pledges by Thursday.  Thank you so much for your generosity!! 

TEACHER APPRECIATION

Last week, the JBE faculty was treated like royalty.  Massages, Breakfast, Goodie Bags, Lunch, Apples, Starbucks, and Kilwins Ice cream were all part of our week long celebration.  Thanks to all who helped make it so special and for your generous donations and gifts!  Special thanks to Dawn Pelletier and Joyce Wang who organized the week's activities. We love the students and parents of Jacksonville Beach Elementary!

BOX TOP COLLECTION

JBE has done an outstanding job raising money for PTA through our box top program this year!  We have collected over $2300 this school year and would like to thank you and ask you to keep up the good work over the summer!

We are going to expand our program and really work on collecting Labels for Education (commonly know as Campbell's Soup Labels) and also Coke Rewards.  We hope to have as much success with these programs and are looking forward to collecting all you have "clipped" over the summer!
