2nd Grade Show Information
We are getting closer to the 2nd grade show. Here are a few things we’d like to remind you about:
*Don’t forget to send in your child’s black shorts by this Wednesday (April 25)
Costumes for the 2nd grade show- please bring the clothes labeled with your child's name NO LATER THAN WEDNESDAY, APRIL 25
(Shalesia) 3 scientists: Lab coats that we have and “kid clothes” jeans, skirts, t-shirts, bright colors. Something that they can dance/move in.
Opening number: field trip t-shirt (we have the shirts) with black shorts
Space- Hammock’s Class
Boys & Girls: costume provided
The speakers for the dinosaur, water cycle, space, ocean, and rainforest we will create these costumes.
SHOW TIMES ARE 10:00 am---1:30pm and 6:30 pm
*The girl’s hair should be worn pulled back off of their face. A low bun is great! Plus, a lot of the dances the students will wear hats, please try to remember that.
*Also, the stage lights may affect your child’s face. Please put a little blush and a little lipstick on their face. (Wednesday, May 2-dress rehearsal and Thursday, May 3-show day)
*If you are going to bring in brushes, make-up, etc. PLEASE LABEL WITH YOUR CHILD’S NAME ON EVERYTHING!!
*For the night performance, please be sure your child is here no later than 5:45pm. THANK YOU!
*If your child has a speaking part, please be sure they are learning their lines everyday!
*Please send a few snacks with your child on Wednesday & Thursday. Also, a bottle of water is needed for both days.
* If you signed up to volunteer, please speak with your child’s teacher as soon as possible, so they will know which day and time you can help out!
