Homework goes home on Monday. No HW on short weeks. We have started spelling tests. The students will bring home the handwritten list on Monday. The spelling test will be on Friday. Please make sure your child reads their take home book or library book each night. They need to be logged in on their list by the parent. Reading is more than just reading the words. Ask the child who are the characters, the setting, and if there is a problem. Have the child retell the story to you. This all develops comprehension skills.
