A little about me:  I was raised in Hawaii, but went to college at UC Riverside in California.  I worked in Riverside and  Poway, San Diego as a teacher for 13 years before moving to the east coast.   I have been in Duval for 5 1/2 years now, and have also taught 4th and 5th grade at Hogan-Spring Glen.

I have 2 beautiful children, Mikayla (11) and Bruce (10). They are 6th and 4th graders at Pacetti Bay Middle School and Mill Creek Elementary in St. Johns County.  I currently live near World Golf Village where we just bought a home. We are currently busy remodeling the entire thing. 

My husband, Ray, and I were married this last July in Hawaii. He is responsible for the amazing look of our room, and equipment hanging where they are. He is going to be very involved with helping out in our classroom this year as a "Room Dad".  

"Miss Sue" Budreau is our volunteer from Spring Glen Methodist Church. She will come once a week to work with individual students or small groups, to help them achieve more in school.
