Welcome to the 2009-2010 school year.  My name is Stacy Fehr and I teach American History and Advanced Placement American History (APUSH).  I look forward to working with new students and parents this year.

I am a National Board Certified Teacher with 20 years of teaching experience, and the last ten years I've enjoyed teaching at Frank H. Peterson Academies of Technology.

Homework for the first day of class, both American History and APUSH classes:
All students will receive lots of orientation materials with information about the class.  Parents, please review this material and note that your signature is required on several forms.  Please sign:  (1)  Syllabus  (2)  Movie Permission Slip  (3)  Internet and photo permission slip.

Announcements:

  • Please mark your calendars for Open House on Monday, September 14, 2009, from 6:30-8:30 P.M.  Students enrolled in Advanced Placement classes are invited to arrive early with their parents for a meeting at 5:45 P.M. in the Wright Place Restaurant.

  • Students need to get a 1 inch or 1 1/2 inch 3 ring folder as soon as possible.  All assignments, notes, etc. are kept in a folder.  This is a tool of organization & responsibility that parents may review to keep up with what's going on in class.
