Announcements:

Students will be working in a fully functional shop. Safety is a priority. It is important that students practice safety at all times. Students must bring safety glasses to be worn in the shop at all times. Flip flops or sandals are not allowed in the shop and pants must be worn at the waist line at all times. Failure to follow these rules will result in a zero for their daily shop grade and/or a discipline referral.


Goal:

Frank H. Peterson Automotive Academy seeks to prepare high-school graduates for entry-level positions in the automotive industry and/or continuation into post-secondary programs. Upon completion of the course our goal is for the automotive student to successfully pass an ASE Exam. Students enrolled in the program get credit for 1 year of automotive experience toward their 2 year requirement to obtain there certifcation.
