ANNOUNCEMENT ABOUT GRADE RECOVERY.....
If your teen had a D or an F the first nine weeks, he/she may recover that grade and earn a C.
I sent home a letter in the first week of November requiring a signature from the parent so 
you would know about the grade recovery program.  Many students have not returned that letter
and will not be able to get a grade change unless I have the copy signed by both teen and parent.
Please contact me if you need a copy of the letter that your teen signed.  There are 21 tasks on 
Compass Odyssey in the Grade Recovery program that he/she can complete with a 70% or better
grade and have that D or F changed to a C.  They can access Compass Odyssey from a home computer,
which is great for helping achieve the skills needed to pass this class.  Thank you.

 PLEASE READ!

 All Geometry and Honors Geometry students are allowed to use 3x5
 or 4x6 notecards on exams given by me.  I have encouraged students
 to put vocabulary, procedures, formulas, common errors made, and
 sample problems on these cards.  All cards need to be either spiral
 bound or held together with a ring or in a binder.  The dollar store
 offers a neat plastic holder that many students have used.  It's just
 perfect!  Students who write the information onto the notecards are
 preparing for the test.  Please have your teen write his/her name
 in permanent ink onto the front and back of the notecards and try
 not to lose them.  They can be used on my quarter and final exams.
