 Announcements

Every eleventh grade student must read "Into the Wild" by John Krakauer.  Also, students will be required to complete the school's Capstone Project research paper during the junior year. 

Attention Parents: The research paper for your child's academy will be due in April.  I will post the exact date in March.

Classwork is important

All classes will keep a Vocabulary Notebook,Dialectical Journal, and a Writing Portfolio.  The writing portfolio will remain in class at all times because students will have the opportunity to revise their essays and track their improvement from the first essay to the last.

The English III students will follow the Springboard curriculum and learning schedule, while the AP English Language and Composition students will follow the Collegeboard curriculum.
