Dear Students and Parents,

Welcome to a new school year at Frank H. Peterson Academies of Technology.  I am very excited to begin a new year of reading.  We will be working on strategies and skills that improve every student's reading proficiency. 

The class works on the Read 180 Instructional Model which consists of 20 minutes-Whole Group; 60 minutes-Small Group, Instructional Software, and Independent Reading (20 min each); and 10 minutes-Whole Group Wrap-Up.  Make sure you check the class page and calendar often to see homework asssignments, class readings, and other important informaion.  I look forward to working with each student and having a great year in Read 180!
