RESEARCH ANNOUNCEMENTS

     ***All make up work must be turned in by 1/15/2010

          I am available every morning by no later than 7:30 am for Test make-ups and assistance
           in obtaining some of the items from the Make-up Notebook. 

           Afternoon- I am available until 4:30 most afternoons, by appointment.

           Students may also come to my class during their lunch to make up tests.

 

Progress Reports and Scholarship Warnings have been sent home.  Please sign and have your student return them ASAP!

**In order for students to be eligible for Grade Recovery this 9 Weeks, they must have at least a C average in the class.  

 

More assignments and documents have been placed on the Main Menu on the left side of this website.

 

ALL VOCABULARY WORDS MUST BE PUT ON FLASH CARDS FOR EITHER HOMEWORK OR CLASSWORK.  This is so that students can use these flashcards when studying for Vocabulary Tests.  Words from all previous vocabulary units are on each test so that students will continue to study and use the words!  This repetition will help them  put these words into their own personal vocabularies.

January 11 & 12,2010- Vocabulary 4 Test

Homework-(Due 1/7 A Day/1/8 B Day)-  Rewrite (or Write if you have not yet written) Expository Essay explaining  how students being separated by gender effects schools. Use Write Score Rubric and peer comments to make improvements on original essay.

 

FCAT EXPLORER HOMEWORK.....COMING SOON!!!!

     *Beginning 1/11/2010 students will be required to get on FCAT Explorer twice week for     

      homework until FCAT is administered.
