WELL WE MADE THROUGH THE TRANSITION TO HIGH SCHOOL!
Just a few important notes:
1. Grades will only be updated in the portal every 2 weeks. A grade of "m" means that the assignment is missing. The student will have a 40% until such time that the assignment is turned in. If the assignments are not turned in, the grade remains as posted.
2. Students were assigned to read the novel A Raisin In the Sun. If students finish an assigned novel before the required deadline, students are expected to read 30 minutes per night in another novel of their choice. IT IS DUVAL COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD REQUIREMENTS THAT STUDENTS COMPLETE THE READING OF 25 BOOKS PER YEAR (1book = 200 pgs.).
