Hello Parents and Students,

It is a pleasure to have you as apart of my World History Class 2009-2010. We will be

covering a vast amount of exciting aspects of history this year; a learning experience that will

be not only informative, but lots of FUN!!!! It is hoped that through our journey in time and

history, the intellectual growth that you gain from this class will be a lasting experience that

you will never forget. 

I like to get to know each student personally, so let me break the ice by letting you know a

little about myself. My name is Cheryl Bond, and I was born and raised in Durham, North

Carolina. As of this year,I have been a teacher in the Duval county school system for 16

years. I am the wife of Ronnie Bond, and we were blessed with four wonderful boys. Each of

my children has an unique interest in giving back to society through the health care

profession. My two eldest children, Ronnie and Kevin, have received their M.D. and D.D.S

respectively. My two youngest children, Victor and Alan, are currently working on obtaining

their doctorate in physical therapy and dentistry.   
  
In my free time I love to travel and experience new aspects to life. My favorite quote that I

apply to life and school states , " The key to success is responsibility".
