Welcome November!!

• Just a few reminders, please sign reading logs and agendas daily.
• Please remember Wednesday folders.  Any grades marked in red need to be signed and returned.

   Math
  In math we are starting Landmarks in the Hundreds which works real hard on Factors.  We are also into our multiplication facts, please help your child nightly study.
  
  
  Reading
  In reading please hold on to the study guides that come home weekly.  They will help you and your child  know what to expect for the week.  It also has their vocabulary words and definitions that will be tested every Thursday.  It also tells the reading strategies, language art skills, and the focus on spelling.
  Please keep in mind a book responses must be turned in once a week.  By now your child should have 2 books towards the 2nd nine weeks.
  
  Science/Social Studies
  We have started our ancient civilization unit for social studies.  Our class will be working on Egypt and writing a class report together.
  
  
  Study Island
  Our class has got Study Island up and going.  If students get a chance please try and have them get on reading and math for a half an hour each a week.  Students only go onto the topics that we have covered so far.
