1. HOMEWORK WILL COUNT TOWARDS 5% OF THE STUDENTS' EXAM GRADE, IF STUDENTS DO ALL OF THEIR HOMEWORK THEY WILL RECEIVE THE 5%, IF THEY DO NOT THEY WILL NOT RECEIVE THE BENEFIT OF THE 5%.

2. ALSO, I AM TRYING AN EXPERIMENTAL GRADING RUBRIC, INSTEAD OF 100PT. SCALE WITH THE EXCEPTIONS OF TESTS, I WILL USE THE 4PT RUBRIC:

3. 90% OF THE STUDENTS' WORK WILL BE ASSESSMENTS (NOT JUST TESTS). FOR EXAMPLE: GRAPHIC ORGANIZERS, TIMED READINGS,MAPS, FCAT INSTRUCTIONAL FOCUS STRATEGIES,MINI-ASSESSMENTS, ETC.)

PARENTS AND GUARDIANS:

1. REMIND YOUR WONDERFUL KIDS TO BE ON TIME EVERYDAY AND COME TO SCHOOL EVERYDAY.
2. FCAT is March 9th! Ask you students about (30-20-10) countdown!!!
3. Use FCAT explorer, come to training camp on Saturday's, ask for help, and set goals for yourself!!!!
